Phil Spector inducts The Platters. A brief live performance by The Who is included in the ceremony, and they are inducted into the Hall of Fame by Adam Clayton of U2.

Every artist, I’m honoured to be on the same planet with them, but some of the industry people that get mentioned at those functions… I find it very difficult when I hear people talking about their good old mates from the old days and mentioning names and I know these people have ripped off artists that I’ve known very well, and unfortunately some aren’t with us now.
