Full article:

Eric Burdon (vocalist, The Animals] : Some time after it had been a hit, Linda Eastman [later to become Linda McCartney) took me to see Nina at Fordham University in New York. Then she dragged me backstage, I didn't want to go. Backstage was very crowded, but eventually I was left alone with Nina, her agent, her manager and her guitar player. Then her eyes lit up, and she said. "So you're the little motherfucker that screwed my song up." Jesus. Wait a minute. I said, "Well, yeah, you could say that, but the upside of it is that you now have a whole audience of young people in Britain waiting for you to arrive."

Well, she backed down from that point, and we shook hands and got on fine after that. When she finally came over to England the people at the tv production company were all scared of her, so I was drafted in to be the cultural minder, and I had a lot of fun showing her around the nightclubs of London, UK.
