Dave Dee : When we got our first record deal they thought our name (Dave Dee and the Bostons) was a bit old fashioned and it was decided we should be called by our nicknames. We just fell about laughing. Everybody said, 'You'll never make it with a name like Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick And Tich.' But we certainly did.
