Harvey Goldsmith (promoter) : One thing that always mystified me was that I promoted an Elton John show at Wembley Arena, where Stevie Wonder came on and guested with him, great show, but Elton left immediately after the encore, walked straight to his car and drove off, then retired for two years. I still don’t know why.
