Gary Brooker [The Paramounts] : We did that quite a few times. You had to do it live, you played live. I used to go down there most weeks, even if we weren't playing. I knew Vicky Wickham, the producer. I was also very good friends with Patrick Kerr, who was one of the dancers. His wife was the girl dancer, and they featured a new dance every week.
I used to find out who was on and go and see them. I'd just be in the audience. There was no problem getting in if you were one of the groups. They liked to have band members down there.
