Derek Watkins, the jazz, pop and classical trumpet player whose work was heard on tracks by The Beatles, Elton John and Eric Clapton, to name only a few, dies aged 68 of cancer in Claygate, Surrey, England, UK, Europe. Another of his many extraordinary accomplishments was providing the trumpet parts for the soundtracks of every James Bond film from Dr. No to Skyfall.
