Eva Sundquist : I wrote his (Jimi's) name on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope, which only was permitted to be opened in case something happened to me. I didn't want Jimi to have the trouble a fatherhood would bring. Welfare officers, Agneta Gustavsson and Birgitta Dahlin, demanded finally that I should tell them who the father was. Otherwise I would not get any advance maintenance payment. ?

I started to get tired of my father at an early age, because I heard about him all the time. She kept going on about him... In the end, instead of talking it over with her, I turned inwards, into myself. I said, 'Don't tell me any more, I don't want to know about my father'.
