Del Shannon : I was there when he did it and he introduced me from the audience. I was quite thrilled. One of his aides had called me and said, 'We have a seat for you at Elvis`s show. Would you like to come on up?' I did, and they had a table for me there with about eight bottles of champagne on it. I talked to him for a couple of hours after the show. He`s a hell of a guy. He`s great.
