Hansjorg Moroder is born in Groden, Italy, Europe. After moving to Germany he will find succes in the early 1970s as Giorgio Moroder, an electronic pop pioneer, often cited as an influence on Kraftwerk. His electronic productions for artists including Donna Summer will powerfully influence disco music.
