Dr. Root concludes that it is most probably the corpse of Gram Parsons of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, upon which he had done an autopsy some days earlier. Parsons' body had subsequently been stolen and burned at Cap Rock in The Joshua Tree National Monument.
