Bud Prager, President of E.S.P. Management, Inc., dies from esophageal cancer at his home in Montauk, New York State, USA. In a long career, Prager had managed artists including Mountain, Foreigner, Bad Company, Ted Nugent, Megadeth and others.
International acclaimed drummer Kofi Ghanaba, aka Guy Warren, dies aged 85 at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, Ghana, Africa. Hugely influential, he introduced African drumming to many Western jazz musicians.
