Johnny Hallyday, known for many years as 'The French Elvis', seeks medical help in Los Angeles, California, USA, where he "presented himself to casualty with shivers and back pains". After examination and tests it is concluded that he is suffering from excessive alcohol consumption and respiratory problems linked to a life of heavy smoking. Soon after, to alleviate the symptoms, Hallyday is placed in a coma.
